Library

The Collegio‘s library contains General References, a Philippiniana section (Ecclesiastical Sciences, social sciences, psychology, etc.), and a very discrete collection of international books.

The plan is to eventually focus on the Philippiniana section, after a general renovation of the facilities, when funds hopefully become available. This way any researcher in Europe on the Ecclesiastical and allied sciences could be welcomed by the Collegio.

On the other hand, due to lack of space, and awaiting renovation, volumes have not been added for years. This is also taking into account the fact that our students have access to the libraries of the Universities in Rome, and there is no need to attempt to replicate them.

PRACTICAL NOTES:

  • The glass doors are meant to be emergency exits, which cannot be opened from the outside without a key. Pending the installation of alarms, temporary locks have been placed, which still allow for emergency opening.
  • Wi-fi is available. For those who need a wired internet connection, you may temporarily use the wire attached to the photocopier (please plug it back to the photocopier after use, so people may print from the library computer), or to outlet no. 5, in between the two emergency doors.
  • Please inform the Admin in case of internet or heater problems.
  • The Filipiniana collection is for now being moved tot he Media Room.
