VIII. AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE ADMINISTRATION OF PONTIFICIO COLLEGIO FILIPPINO AND THE CONGREGACIÓN DE RELIGIOSAS MISIONERAS DE SANTO DOMINGO

THE PONTIFICIO COLLEGIO FILIPPINO
and the
CONGREGACIÓN DE RELIGIOSAS MISIONERAS DE SANTO DOMINGO
HEREBY AGREE AS FOLLOWS:

1. That the CRMSD shall provide the PCF with four Sisters who will take charge of the Chapel, Sacristy, kitchen, laundry, sewing, reception, library and office tasks requested by the PCF Administrators (such as computer encoding, archiving of files, correspondence and other office tasks).

2. That the PCF shall:

a. provide due spiritual care to the Sisters, offering them periodic conferences and providing them possibilities of participating in the spiritual program offered at the different centers of the Church in Rome;

b. respect and consider the Sisters’ quarters as a cloister;

c. be responsible for the maintenance of their quarters, and pay for the electricity and water; the Sisters shall have a private telephone line;

d. give the Sisters just remuneration of two thousand Euros (EUR 2,000.00) monthly, plus thirteenth-month and fourteenth-month stipends in July and in December respectively;

e. pay their health insurance;

f. grant each Sister a day-off every week;

g. on days when the PCF has many guests, the PCF will get part-time workers, rather than ask the Sisters to do extra work;

h. provide for each Sister’s vacation, according to the norms of the CRMSD
i. each Sister normally is normally given a 45-day vacation in the Philippines every two years, or every year if at least one parent is very sickly; this is in addition to the 8-day annual retreat which may be done in the Philippines or in Rome.
ii. on alternate years (that is, on the years the Sister does not have a vacation in the Philippines), each Sister is entitled to a vacation of 12 days, plus the 8-day annual retreat;
iii. the PCF shall pay the Sister’s round-trip ticket;
iv. if a Sister shall be transferred for justifiable reasons before her vacation, the PCF shall pay for the return trip to the Philippines and the CRMSD shall provide a replacement and pay for the trip to Rome of said replacement.

3. That this agreement shall cover a term of three years, and may be renewed for the same period of time, or modified or revoked by any of the two parties, provided that notice is served six months before the expiration of this agreement.
