TV Software Update

At times its Software Update or some other function (e.g., under MENU >SETTINGS) is inactive. Press SOURCE on the remote control, then REFRESH. Go back to MENU >SETTINGS, and Software Update should be active.

Also at times the Samsung TV cannot connect to the wireless network. Try resetting the access point and switching off the TV and on again, as well as the REFRESH above. Also try Menu >Support >Self-Diagnosis >Reset >PIN (try common default PINs). (Note that models prior to 2018 can connect only to 2.4GHz.)

If NETFLIX hangs at “Retrieving Titles” and does not enter its main menu, enter the following sequence in the remote: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up. Select DEACTIVATE, and sign back in again.
